Miniature of a lady, facing front, in blue dress with white lace trim.  She has flowers in her hair and a woven string of pearls to match her necklace.  Watecolour on ivory signed on the obverse by Sophia Smith 176?.  Original glazed gold bracelet frame with paste border surround.  Later brooch attachment on reverse.
