Charming portrait of a young girl with curled fair hair, wearing a white dress with blue ribbons on the sleeves.  Watercolour on ivory by William Egley C1845.  This is set in its original gold bracelet frame with scalloped edges and solid reverse.  The miniature can detach from the actual woven hair bracelet which has matching scalloped borders with engraved decorative middle.
