Charming miniature of a lady facing right with a large bonnet with ostrich feathers perched on her dark hair secured loosely with a blue ribbon.  The reverse has a mourning miniature of a lady lamenting by an urn under a tree (vertical crack to left side).  Watercolour on ivory, English C1785.  Original frame set with seed pearl border.
