Miniature of a handsome officer facing right with powdered wig en queue.  He is wearing a red uniform with blue facing and silver epaulette.  Watercolour on ivory by P Jean C1790.  Original frame set with split pear border and hanger, the reverse with mirroring pearl border surrounding a convex blue glass.
