Extremely large miniature of a gent with powdered wig en queue, wearing a blue jacket with white waistcoat and white knotted cravat.  Enamel on copper signed on the obverse 'Peat' C1800.  Original gold frame, the reverse with a lock of glazed hair set on white opaline glass with foiled blue glass border.
