Tortoiseshell travelling ink set with domed lid.  The silver mounts hinge open to reveal its original contents which comprise of: faceted glass ink and sander with silver pull-off lids, 3 silver scrw-in nibs, a steel quill cutter and the pen handle.  Internal glass mirror (cracked).  English C1765.
