Rare sewing set contained in a real Spanish walnut.  The silver mounts hinge open to reveal the internal tools which comprise of: 2 steel lace-making crochet hooks , 2 steel stilettos, a mother-of-pearl folding knife, steel scissors and 2 parts of the steel handle which screw together. French C1840.
