She is wearing a white dress with low-cut bodice and pearl decorations on the shoulder and has a blue bandeau tied in her powdered hair. Watercolour on ivory by George Engleheart C1780. Period gold shell frame, the reverse with hair, pearls and gold strands set on white opaline glass surrounded by a plaited hair border.
