Large miniature of a lady with her dark hair simply adorned with a bandeau.  She is wearing a long-sleeved white dress tied at the waist with a yellow ribbon.  Watercolour in ivory by George Engleheart C1795.  Original gold shell frame, the reverse with glazed loosely woven hair.
