Ivory aide memoire set with 2 glazed gold mounted miniatures of a spaniel seated on a red cushion and doves amongst a quiver of arrows. The top has 2 gold pierced applied decoration with the words; `souvenir` and `d`amitie`. The mounts are 2-coloured gold chased with flowers and leaves which hinges open to reveal its internal 2 leaf ivory notepad and pencil. French discharge marks C1785.
