Very unusual porcelain scent formed as an Indian elephant. It is hand-decorated in polychrome colours with its headdress and tusks heightened in gold. Silver screw-on lid, the top embossed with an Indian influenced design, hallmarked by Saunders and Shepherd, Birmingham 1885. Registration mark around silver collar and below tusk.
