Satirical enamel patch box, the white-ground base is decorated with a band of raised flowers and leaves. The lid has a hand-painted depiction of a happy couple one month before marriage and if you turn it 90 degrees, the same couple snarling at one another, one month after marriage. Bilston C1800. Original internal mirror (cracks).
