Miniature of a lady wearing a blue dress with white lace front, her unpowdered hair piled on her head , covered by a black veil. Watercolour and pencil by Edridge C1785. Glazed silver gilt frame with solid back. NB: This miniature is more reminiscent of the larger works on card executed by Edridge as he has used a lot of pencil to highlight areas which is A-typical of his works on ivory.
