Beautifully packaged miniature of a gent wearing a black coat, stock and waistcoat with pink floral embroidery. He is set against a very striking cobalt fading to lilac coloured background. Watercolour on ivory by T M Fox C1845. Original decorative chased frame with matching hanging loop. The glazed reverse has hair decoration set on white foiled opaline glass with a central blue glass heart surrounded by seed pearls with a gold cut-out letter, 'W'. Original maroon leather carrying case with matching velvet interior.
