White enamel octagonal etui, the front, sides and back decorated with polychrome vignettes of pastoral scenes and floral depictions, surrounded by raised decorative gilding. The copper gilt mounts hinge open to reveal the internal contents comprising of: 2 original faceted glass scent bottles, an ivory writing tablet, gilt pencil, needle, snuff spoon, folding fruit knife and combined ear and toothpick.
