Miniature of a gent known as Baron Jacob Van Heerdt, wearing a black coat with white frilled cravat. Watercolour on ivory by Nathaniel Pliemer C1800. Original gold frame with blue glass reverse set with central glazed hair panel. Red Morocco leather travelling case.
NB: Baron van Heerdt was Dutch representative to Liverpool.
