Tortoiseshell etui in the shape of a knife-box. The silver mounts hinge open to reveal its internal contents which comprise of: Silver combined tweezers and ear scoop, pencil, combined ear scoop and toothpick, faceted glass scent with silver collar and ivory writing slip. The inside of the lid is lined with the original pink velvet and has a mirror with silver braid surround in the lid. English C1765.
