Charming miniature polychrome enamel scent in original leather fitted box. The body is red guilloche enamel set with central vignettes of hand-painted flowers set on a peach-coloured background. The edges are decorated with paillon gold leaf and the outside perimeter of the scent is black enamel. Silver gilt engraved hinge mount set with chain and finger ring. French boar's head decharge mark 1838-1860.
