Very large portrait miniature of a lady with dark hair facing front, wearing a white dress with frilled edging and a coral bead necklace.  Watercolour on ivory signed 'E' on obverse for George Engleheart C1801.  Original gold frame, the reverse with 3-coloured hair decoration with seed pearl border set within blue foiled glass.

NB: The sitter could possibly be a member of the Long family.
