Charming miniature of a lady wearing a green embroidered gown with red trim over a white lace dress. She has a black feathered hat on her brown curled hair and is holding her pet dog in one hand and a mask in the other. Oil on ivory Venetian C1715. The reverse ha pique decoration with green and brown inlay and this was probably originally the top to a box.
