White-ground enamel repousse scent, with bianco-sopra-bianco decoration and lavish gold leaf scroll decoration and borders. The front and reverse have polychrome vignettes painted with depictions from the Arts and Sciences. Copper gilt pull-off stopper cast in the form of a bird. Bilston C1770. Original fitted box with velvet lining.
