Bijou monochromatic miniature of a gent in powdered wig en queue, facing front, wearing a beige jacket with white frilled cravat.  Watercolour on ivory by Richard Cosway C1780.  Original gold jewelled frame with gold bauble edging, the reverse with glazed fair hair set with white enamel border.  Actual frame size 4 cms x 3.5 cms.
