Miniature of a gent with powdered hair, wearing a blue coat with white stock and red ribbon. Watercolour on ivory by Vaslet of Bath C1795. Original watch-top frame with stunning reverse; pierced gold leaves on stem with joining bow at the bottom is interspersed with hair set on an ivory wafer. The centre has an opaline panel set with gold pierced initials with gold scalloped border surrounded by plaited hair .
