Charming miniature of a young lady facing front with a white lace head covering tied with pink ribbons on her dark hair. She is wearing a pink fur-trimmed garment over her lace-edged blue bodice with fur trim. Watercolour on ivory C1785. Original gilded metal frame with ornate engraved edging, , the reverse has a purple foiled glass set with central plaited hair with gold rim and a single seed pearl flower at the top, protected by a clear convex glass.
