Miniature of a gent with powdered hair, facing right, wearing a black jacket with frilled white cravat. It has a strung seed pearl border, surrounded by plaited hair. The Reverse has a central glazed plaited hair cartouche with gilded metal border. Watercolour on ivory C1785. Actual frame size: 5.5 cms x 4.5 cms.
