Rectangular enamel on copper box depicting Leda and the swan surrounded by cherubs with a tree in the background with eagle watching from behind. The inside of the lid is painted with a different allegorical scene and the sides and base are decorted with semi-clad ladies and cheribs. The lid is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner; Clau?? C1765. Gilded metal hinged mounts.
