Miniature of a pretty lady named Mrs Petit. She is facing left, wearing a low-cut blue gown with white trim and a black veil draped over one shoulder. She has an unusual demure pose of looking down. Enamel on copper by C F Zincke C1720. Gilded metal frame with solid back.
NB: Mrs Petit was mistress to C Coleman and this miniature came by family descent.
