Dimensions:
Colourful miniature of a young lady, her brown hair piled on her head and fastened with a pearl slide with matching pearl drop earrings. She is wearing a green dress with white frill edging and a pink cloak draped over one shoulder. Watercolour on ivory by Samuel Cotes, signed on the obverse with artist's initials and dated 1779. Later gold frame with split pearl border and hanger.
