Miniature of a young lady, facing right, her dark hair piled on her head and set with pearl comb.She is wearing a blue dress with white diaphanous collar and has a matching blue ribbon fastening her string of pearls. Watercolour on ivory attributed to Penelope Carwrdine C1755. Later gilded metal frame with pierced decorative border and pin attachment.
