Large miniature of a lady facing front with a bandeau secured with pearls in her powdered hair.  She is wearing a pale pink dress with lacey frilled collar and has a miniature suspended by pearls near her breast.  Watercolour on ivory by Horace Hone C1785.  Original engraved gold frame with glazed panel of hair on reverse.
