Round Yellow Patch Box

Round yellow-ground patch box, the base decorated with raised gold-leaf patterns.  The lid has a central white vignette with hand-painted polychrome flowers surrounded by a raised gold-leaf swag border and black flower pattern.  Bilston C1780.  Original internal polished steel mirror (some deterioration).
