French Enamel Case

Silver enamel case hand- painted with a lady adjusting her floral headband in a mirror being held by a young child.  This is bordered with an array of colourful flowers including morning glory and fuscia.  The reverse is painted with 3 blue tits and a bumblebee surrounded by polychrome flowers.  The silver mount springs opens from a side catch to reveal a turquoise enamel interior of birds in a nest.  French C1870.
