Charming tortoiseshell and gilt patch box. The red and dark-brown tortoiseshell lid is decorated with gilt pique studs and the gilt base is engraved with a flower within a border. The lid pulls off to reveal its original internal mirror (perished and cracked). Dutch or English C1690
