Small blue porcelain lay-down scent decorated with silver-gilt pierced cagework of swags and leaves and chain with finger ring attached at sides. The lid is embossed with flowers and hinges open to reveal its internal glass stopper. French Boar's Head decharge mark 1838 - 1860.
