Very unusual repousse armorial snuff box, the white enamel ground is decorated with gold geometric pattern with raised dots. The hand painted coloured hats, weapons and flags have all been hammered from the inside of the copper before enamelling, to create a 3 dimensional effect. The lid has a hand-painted central armorial surrounded by flags and spears. Bilston C1770.
