Lady by A Buck

Unusual miniature of a young girl with fair hair and blue eyes, wearing a white dress with ruched edging and a large white cap.  Watercolour on ivory by Adam Buck C1800.  Original gold shell frame, the glazed reverse with seed pearl initials 'EM' set on plaited hair.  Later added brooch attachment.
