Portrait miniature of an young officer, set against a cloud background, wearing red jacket with blue facing and collar with gold braided edging and a white cross sash.  He has a black stock and metal gorget around his neck.  Watercolour on ivory, Irish school C1795.  Original gilded frame, the reverse with glazed plaited hair.
