Charming small rectangular enamel box. The white ground has bianco-sopra-bianco decoration encompassing a hand-painted polychrome vignette on each side and the lid. The copper-gilt mounts hinge open to reveal an internal mirror in the lid and the base has a printed monochrome motto 'Gage de mon amour'. Birmingham C1765
