Copper Gilt Etui and Chatelaine

Petite copper gilt etui chased with a figure of a lady on the front and a man on the reverse bordered by swags.  It has its original chatelaine which depicts Britannia holding a shield and matching patterned thimble holders.  The etui hinges open to reveal its contents; folding fruit knife, snuff spoon, combined ear and toothpick, scissors, combined tweezers and scoop, pencil and ivory writing tablet.  English C1760.
