Very unusual enamel snuff box, the white ground base with central vignette decoration of Neoclassical scenes. The lid is painted with a scene of Cleopatra, seated, wearing a yellow gown, an asp entwined around her arm whilst a maid covers her eyes in fear. Birmingham C1765.
