Unusual Nelson-related patch box C1805.

Unusual navette-shaped patch box with cobalt base.  The white-ground lid has a hand painted depiction of a sailor with one arm and a wooden leg with a ship in the background.  The surrounding motto reads: A leg and arm the loss would little been if Nelson's life had been retained'.  Bilston C1805.  Original internal mirror.
