White enamel patch box with scalloped base. The lid sports a hand-written motto promoting the restoration of health to George III while he was suffering from one of his bouts of illness. This is decorated with a scalloped blue border and raised green and red enamel edging. Bilston C1790. Original internal mirror (cracked).
