Colourful pair of miniatures of a husband and wife. He is wearing a blue jacket with matching waistcoat and white frilled cravat, his powdered wig en queue. She is wearing a blue bodice with white frills to the neck tied with matching blue bow. She has a black lace shawl over the dress and a lace bonnett tied on her powdered hair. Watercolour on ivory, English school C1770. Both in orignal 18 carat gold bracelet frames (complete) with added hanging loops.
