Miniature of an officer with hair tied en queue, wearing a red jacket with blue facings and white stock.  Watercolour on ivory signed on the obverse with artist's initials 'S.P' probably for Simon Pine C1765.  Original gold bracelet frame with ornate armandine garned bezel.
