Miniature of a military officer with powdered hair wearing a red jacket with yellow lapels and silver epaulette and buttons and black stock.  He has a white cross sash with the number '99' on pertaining to his division.  Watercolour on ivory by Frecerick Buck C1795.  Original gold shell frame, the reverse with glazed plaited hair and lock.
