Miniature of an officer of the 77th East Middlesex Regiment on foot.  He is wearing a red jacket with white facings, silver braided epaulettes and a cross sash with the 77th Regiment emblem.  Watercolour on ivory C1785.  Original gold frame with engraving, the reverse with glazed plaited hair set with gold cursive initials.
