Large miniature of a gent identified as Walker Skirrow. He has dark curled hair with mutton chop side burns and is wearing a blue jacket with white stock, set against a sky background. Watercolour on ivory (signed on back of miniature) by William Wood 1808. Original frame with split pearl border, the reverse with silver gilt back and old label.
