Miniature of a gent, facing left, wearing a grey coat with white tied lace cravat and spotted waistcoat. He has powdered hair en queue and is set against a dark background. Watercolour on ivory in the manner of Francois Ferriere C1790. Original gold shell frame, the reverse set with central glazed plaited hair with blue glass surround.
