Miniature of a young gent with powdered hair facing front, wearing an olive coat with tied white stock.  Watercolour on ivory by Samuel Shelley C1795. Original gold shell frame the reverse with foiled white opaline glass (crack) set with a hair design with pearl embellisment and a blue glass cartouche set with seed pearls initials.
