Miniautre of a handsome young gent with powdered wig, facing right, wearing a blue jacket with a waistoat and frilled cravat. Watercolour on ivory by George Engleheart C1785. Original gold shell frame, the miniature with blue glass border. The glazed reverse has foiled white opaline glass with 3 coloured hair decoration set with 3 pearls (probably the hair from members of his family).
